Bodegas Casa Primicia is the only Spanish bodega that in recent years has obtained the Grand Prix d'Honneur in the prestigious Bordeaux Fair and the award to the best European wine in the Japan Wine Challenge of Tokyo.
During these years Bodegas Casa Primicia has won numerous national and international awards.
In 2005, Julian Madrid received “The Knight’s Order” in the United Kingdom. In 2006, Carravalseca received the Vinordic (Sweden) award and in 2007, three wines from the cellar; Curium, Carravalseca and Primicia Reserve, were awarded at least 90 points on the famous list of the American wine critic Robert Parker. In the 2014 edition, Guild also exceeded that amount, and finally in the 2015 edition, the Julian Madrid Family Reserve obtained the same distinction.
The main national and international magazines highlight the Bodegas Casa Primicia wines In Christmas 2013, Wine Spectator, identified the Guild Casa Primicia and the Casa Primicia Tempranillo as the two best wines during the a tasting of Spanish wines.
Awards have also extended to the vineyard’s corporate identity and image. In 2011, the San Francisco (USA) Museum of Modern Art (SF MOMA) selected and showcased the Julian Madrid label as one of the best designs of wine labels of all time.
Furthermore, Bodegas Casa Primicia received the BEST OF WINE TOURISM award for its efforts to promote oenotourism. This prestigious international award recognizes the oenotouristic excellence of the emblematic Casa Primicia building and the magnificent and unique garden amongst the vineyards located in the Carravalseca lagoon.
